Overview
About Our Training Program
PassAssured’s Premier Product, the Pharmacy
Technician Training Program, or PTTP, combines the components of our
Pharmacy Technician Testing System with a rich multimedia learning
experience. The PTTP integrates audio, video, and graphic images to
place the student in a real-world training environment. Seven and
one-half hours of audio, complemented with coaching video clips,
blend the over 2500 images into a riveting multimedia learning
experience. Our testing system utilizes an ‘earned’ step approach of
rewarding the student for success and opening higher levels of
testing. From basic section questions to our ‘Blue Ribbon’ exam, our
testing system is designed to enhance the student retention levels.
Our system was designed from conception to distribution, with one
single overriding element: To train individuals to pass the PTCB
exam.

The Training System. PassAssured's Pharmacy Technician Training
Program provides six main topic areas, divided into
42 sub-topics of
study. Each topic contains audio,
video, text, and
images to provide
the student with a multimedia experience and an accurate
representation of the study material. All topics are supported by
text-based Windows help files, which feature full topic hyperlinks
and search capabilities.
Our Audio Presentation. Over seven and one-half hours of audio
provides the student with listening, reading, and a visual learning
experience. The studio-recorded audio presentation provides an easy
listening experience, detailing the technical aspects of pharmacy
technician skills.
Pictures and Graphics. Over 2,500 pictures and graphics are used to
illustrate the technical details of each topic. Pictures are from a
working pharmacy, illustrating actual duties of pharmacy
technicians, from greeting customers to performing basic aseptic
techniques. Our calculation illustrations use examples "in motion"
to illustrate methods of solving various math equations.
Text-Based Windows Help Files. Each subsection is supplemented with
a Windows-type help file, accessible at any time from the
audio-driven study program. The text-based help files are
hyperlinked for fast access to the particular topic, or the student
can use the search feature to fine-tune the learning experience.
Our Video Presentation. Over 20 minutes of video helps guide the
student through the learning experience. An individual video clip
introduces each of the 42 subsections and provides study topic hints
for the student.
CD-ROM Operation Instructions. Exceptional CD-ROM instructional help
is given, with illustrations to assist the student in the operation
